KEYERA – SEEDS OF CONNECTION
As part of their initiative to work more closely with Indigenous peoples, Keyera wanted a video to signify their commitment and values with respect for Indigenous culture and history. The “seeds of connection” motif was created by an Indigenous artist as the symbol of this initiative; each segment represents a different wildflower alongside an important value that speaks both the Indigenous people’s way of life and Keyera’s desire to work alongside them.
We aimed to create a video that showcases and builds out the pieces of this motif in each scene: the mountains and foliage are carved from the seed shape, the colours are derived closely from the finished design, and of course the flowers are the primary visual element used to bring us through the different values.
