Calgary Stampede – You’re the Greatest
For 10 days each year, the Stampede has the power to transform people into the greatest versions of themselves. Whether you put the Dad in Plaid or the Cute in Boots, you bring something special to the Stampede.
Deceptively simple, a lot goes into pulling something like this off and takes a huge team of talented people. Our main contributions include video production, visual effects, practical effects, editing and finishing to capture this unique spirit.
The first 2023 video (below) was so successful that we did an updated version for 2024 (above).

Sometimes the best part of doing shoots like this is rigging up random pieces of equipment and figuring out all the details that go into making it feel realistic in the final shot. From the harnesses to the wind to the effects of gravity, faking an upside-down roller coaster isn’t as simple as it may seem!
