City of Calgary - Green Line

Calgary’s Green Line has been in the works for decades, and now that it’s finally happening, the city kicked things off with a ground-breaking ceremony — complete with a hype video. That’s where we came in. Studio Dialog was asked to create something that captures the vibrancy and opportunities the Green Line will bring, while showing a broad range of locations within a limited number of scenes. So we got creative. We mixed together a bit of everything — real building photos, 3D train models, 2D graphics, gaussian splats (yep), illustrations, and more — to build a playful, collage-style world for our Green Line train to roll through. It’s a little bit real, a little bit imagined, and totally unique.
