City of Calgary - Green Line

Calgary’s Green Line has been in the works for decades, and with it finally becoming a reality, the city threw a ground-breaking ceremony complete with a hype video to kick the project off. Studio Dialog was tasked with creating this video to show the vibrancy and opportunities the transit line will bring along its route, with the added challenge of not being overly specific. To do this, we created a collaged style by combining everything from photos of actual buildings to the actual 3D train model to 2D graphic elements to gaussian splats to illustrations of people, among other things. Combined, all these pieces create a unique world for our hero Green Line train to live in.
